Cloud DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our M2C (Move to Cloud) Squad. This team plays a critical role in driving our organization\'s cloud migration initiative, overseeing the transformation of our infrastructure and applications to cloud-native environments. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions, automation, and observability practices for the application team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams ensuring the reliability, security, performance, scalability, durability of the cloud solutions adopted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and experience in designing and implementing observability solutions.Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute cloud migration strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams optimizing for cloud runnable designs, solutions and implementations.
• Architect scalable and resilient Kubernetes solutions to support high-availability applications.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts.
• Integrate Kubernetes with existing systems and services, ensuring seamless operation.
• Manage multiple Kubernetes clusters across various regions or cloud providers to enhance fault tolerance, compliance, and resource distribution.
• Integrate on-premises infrastructure with cloud-based Kubernetes clusters to leverage existing resources and scale as needed.
• Optimize for microservices and implementing Service Mesh Architecture handling service-to-service communication, security, and observability.
• Implement practices for continuous delivery/deployment pipelines for Kubernetes workloads.
• Monitor cluster performance, optimize resource utilization, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Implement and maintain advanced security measures within Kubernetes, such as pod security policies, network policies, and secret management. Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of the Kubernetes environment.
• Stay current with the latest Kubernetes trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application performance.
• Design and automate cutover activities to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.

Who Are We Looking For

• University (bachelor/master) degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in delivering cloud solution architectures with deep knowhow of cloud service offerings and proficiency in cloud migration methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in designing/building/monitoring/troubleshooting/optimizing cloud managed Kubernetes workloads in production. In-depth understanding of networking and security practices in Kubernetes environments.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes multi-cluster offering management and hybrid cloud workload environments.
• Experience with microservices service mesh architecture handling service-to-service communication, security, observability, handling service discovery, load balancing and implementing strategies for blue-green deployments and canary releases.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
• Proficiency with Docker, Helm Chart, GitLab, Terraform, Ansible/Puppet/Chef, GitOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging stack like Openmetrics, Opentelemetry, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, Splunk, Fluentd, GCP and other cloud native options.
• Strong problem-solving skills with cloud infra and workload.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as Google ACE/PCA with Kubernetes certification.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and experience working with Scaled Agile Delivery teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
• Languages: English
