So if you are a highly skilled Application Engineer looking to make a real impact on the world, join our journey!The opportunityWorldline is looking for Software Quality assurance Engineers to join our Operating Team centre that will support our FS Production Centres Merchant and acquiring services, issuing, digital services and account payments. You will play a crucial role is Quality assurance of the supplied software. Installation of the software in the development environment and pre-production .Finding bugs and discussing or addressing them with the developer. Prepare the installation for the productive environment with the operating team. This includes an automatic installation using Ansible and Puppet.Your day-to-day responsibilities include

• Managing the Worldline Software in a customer related setup.
• You understand the strong need of security and will understand the requirements of PCI and GDPR.
• Contribute to the build; configuration; integration and deployment to production of the different software,
• Interact with various internal Monitoring, Operations and Development support functions to resolve production issues or to redesign/refine processes, procedures, delivery mechanisms and support models
• Identify and develop tools, techniques and procedures for improving the alarming, monitoring, performance, availability and reliability of applications
• Review application support documentation
• Understand HA and DR concepts and optimize switch over scenarios to bring production back to live as fast as possible.
• Recording, analyzing and evaluating requirements from internal and external customers
• Monitoring and controlling internal or external development
• Maintenance and further development of our current Online Transaction Plattform and fleet card functionality
• Support in the further development of our EMV configuration
• Support and implementation of technical acceptances with the German banking industry
• Creating specifications for system technology taking into account the requirements of IT operations
• Technical acceptance of delivered solutions
• 3rd level support for error analysis and troubleshooting during ongoing operations
• Planning and implementation of tests for the acceptance of new and modified system solutions

You will demonstrate the ability to understand the requirements, prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.You will show you can work in full autonomy but teaming with your colleagues of the competence centre and in close collaboration with the international production centres teams.We are looking for

• 1) Master or Bachelor degree in IT, Electronics or Industrial Engineering
• 2)advanced expertise in script development with Puppet (also of advantage Ansible - convert Ansible to Puppet)
• 3) Very good knowledge of software deployment using Puppet and (also of advantage Ansible)
• 4) Good knowledge of SQL, bash scripting
• 5) Experience in software quality assurance
• 5) Good experience in working with software developers
• 7) Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix
• 8) Preferred experience in payment industry
