Must haves:o Bachelor or advanced degree in computer science, IT, Electronics & Communication or engineering-related or data-intensive related fields such as applied mathematics, economics, physics or statistics.o Professional experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer or related role in the private sector. Includes developing optimization algorithms or machine learning or deep learning models in production settings for 3 or more years.o Professional experience of using either PyTorch, Tensorflow, or Keras.o Strong proficiency in wrangling datasets through Pandas, Dask or other Python-based data science libraries.o Strong fundamentals in solving analytical problems with various algorithmic solutions.o Professional experience in end-to-end system design: data analysis, feature engineering, technique selection & implementation, debugging, and maintenance in production.o Data Mining & Management / Predictive Analytics / Machine Learning / Optimisation / Business Rules Engines / Geospatial Analysis / Risk Scoring & Identificationo Solid experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning models and techniqueso Knowledge of Generative AI modelso Knowledge of existing and upcoming platforms and vendors in the market with and leveraging them creatively into wider business solutions (good to have)Good to have:o Demonstrated experience in working on data science for social good problem statementso Professional experience in working with the government directly or indirectly in policy-consulting or technology roles settings is a strong plus.o Ability to create advanced analytical models that are fit for purpose and scalable, to identify insightful trends and patterns from the datao Experience in structuring, presenting, and communicating your work resultso Experience with source control (git) and DevOpso Generative AI and experience with MLFlow and other MLOps pipelineo Ability to present complex business and technology problems and solutions in a simple form to address the level of audience from C-level, executive sponsors, and business owners to engineering and operational teamso Strong appetite for innovation and emerging technologieso Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical solutions with end users in mind, motivate and mobilize resources, as well as deliver resultso Flexibility in terms of working hours and working on multiple tools and technologies
