As Cluster Lead for Competitive Intel, you will be playing a pivotal role in providing in-depth
competitive insights and analysis of CGIs business environment, especially the global IT/technology services market.
Supporting senior leaders across Strategic business units as well as CGI Corporate, Your future duties and responsibilities
Competitive Intel lead will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting back developments in and around CGIs addressable market and its competitive landscape

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with leadership and diversified stakeholder groups to understand their data needs

and recommend right research resources and solutions

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify and map growth opportunities, emerging

business/IT trends, and changing market contours

• Track, analyze, and report key competitor performance, GTM and initiatives/updates as in

input to CGI strategy and ongoing client engagements

• Comprehensive market assessments, domain specific battle cards, and competitor profiles

relevant to ongoing business development, sales, and corporate strategy initiatives

• Identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition targets, and lead high level due

diligence efforts for product service/geo mapping

• Apply analytical and creative problem-solving skills to triangulate insights from multiple sources

and contextualize for the business problem in hand

• Provide and defend gathered intelligence, methodology, content, and conclusions to the

senior stakeholders in a clear, concise format

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategic

projects and initiatives

• Focus on agility and automation- identify areas to automate, develop deep-dive tools, UIs,

metrics, and dashboards to communicate insights to the business teams

• Lead strategic initiatives from time to time such as Global VOC Analysis, Corporate sponsored

surveys/ studies, thematic research newsletters and triggers

• Mentor a small group of research analysts - task allocations, prioritization, and reviews
• Projects may include, but are not limited to competitive landscapes (trends, market

positioning, market share analysis, GTM strategy, business model canvas, dashboards, Voice of Client analysis, profiles, peer tracking) pipeline analyses, company profiles, general surveillance. Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Analytical mindset, Problem Solver, and experience in Report Writing
• Experience in Research/Sales Enablement/Pre Sales/ corporate Strategy type functions
• Ability to independently read, interpret and synthesize company performance reports
• Contextual and conceptual understanding of technology industry and key

trends/technologies

• Understanding of ITES/Software Industry concepts, industry correlations, IT/ business trends
• Working knowledge of visualization tools-tableau, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
• Exposure to third party subscriptions such as Gartner, Forrester, CIQ, TBR, ISG, AI Enabled tools
• Experience with online Databases search techniques, including Boolean, research frameworks
• Strong verbal and written English communication

Education

• Graduate/ MBA or any masters degree from reputed institute
