Providing technical expertise and guidance on datacenter strategy including but not limited to Defining technology roadmaps and strategies for the datacenter. Server Management Install, configure, and maintain server hardware. Oversee server virtualization technologies for resource optimization. Implement and manage server operating systems. Storage Management Configure and manage storage solutions, including SAN and NAS. Optimize storage resources for performance and capacity. Implement backup and recovery strategies. Networking Design and maintain network infrastructure within the datacenter Ensure network connectivity and troubleshoot issues. Assist Network admin to configure routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Ability to design and implement cable labeling standards. Datacenter Security Implement physical security measures for the datacenter. Manage access controls and surveillance systems. Implement cybersecurity measures to protect data and infrastructure. Environmental Controls Monitor and control environmental factors such as temperature and humidity. Design and implement measures for DC power management and efficiency. Include understanding of 3 phase power, design and monitoring for DC. Backup And Disaster Recovery Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans. Regularly test and update recovery procedures to ensure data integrity. Monitoring And Performance Optimization Implement monitoring tools to track the performance of servers and infrastructure. Documentation And Training Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian tool configurations. Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users. Provide guidance on best practices for tool usage. Vendor Interaction Engage with multiple hardware and site vendor support for assistance, troubleshooting, or updates.
