The incumbent would work as part of this team to support the Cognos and projects in traditional BI tools.Job Responsibilities1. Ability to work with BI reporting platforms like Cognos2. Extensive experience in creating Cognos reports using IBM Cognos Analytics suite3. Experience in metadata modeling using Framework Manager4. Performed tuning & support for existing BI application and tools5. Knowledge to develop visualizations, dashboards using multiple BI tools6. Understand and analyze Business requirements accurately and provide optimum solution to meet functional and performance requirement7. Experience in SQL scripting and reporting analysis8. Participate in overall architecture and strategy for the deployment of BI applicationsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesEducation\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of educationExperience\xc2\xb7 Total experience of 4-6 yearsKnowledge and skills (general and technical)\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience in any of the BI reporting tools\xc2\xb7 Expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics reporting platform\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of SQL queries\xc2\xb7 Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of management, including translating complex ideas and data into actionable steps for business unitsOther Requirements (licenses, certifications, specialized training \xe2\x80\x93 if required)\xc2\xb7 Not applicableWorking RelationshipsInternal Contacts(and purpose of relationship):\xc2\xb7 Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support as well as associate development.
