We are seeking an experienced •Consultancy • •Practice Manager • to oversee our team of 20-30 employees, including Testers, Product Consultants, and Technical Consultants, along with two managers. The successful candidate will drive cross-skilling initiatives and enhance collaboration with other sites to optimize performance and efficiency. A key responsibility will be managing and balancing workloads across the team to ensure optimal performance while supporting and guiding the two managers to lead their respective teams effectively.
The •Practice Manager • will foster a culture of self-development and proactivity within the team, implementing plans to develop and enhance the team's competencies. Innovation is crucial, and the manager will introduce innovative working methods to improve efficiency and strengthen connections with all SBS sites and teams. Promoting a collaborative and empowering culture, the manager will cultivate the concept of 'one team' across all SBS offices.
Regular and effective communication with SMS UK Senior Leadership is essential, as is utilizing appropriate tools and platforms to facilitate collaboration. The •Consultancy • •Practice Manager • will develop practices that integrate seamlessly with the UK office, contributing to the company's long-term strategic goals. Tracking and improving key metrics such as NIT, utilization, and delivery quality will be critical, along with conducting regular performance reviews.
Stakeholder management is also a vital part of this role, requiring close collaboration with the Head of Consulting SMS UK and the Quality Assurance Lead, to deliver an integrated delivery model. The •Consultancy • •Practice Manager • will ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met. Qualified candidates will have extensive management experience within a software delivery environment, proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams, and strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Financial Industry Experience:
• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
• Experience working in banking, investment, insurance, or related financial sectors.
• Familiarity with financial processes, reporting, and compliance requirements.

• Experience leading and managing technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.

• Minimum of 5 years overall management experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Second Line Manager in a delivery environment

• Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
B-Tech (regular) / MBA (regular)
Minimum of 5 years overall management experience
