Job Description

The Construction Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction activities at a job site. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specified quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Management: - Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. - Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. - Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.

2. Safety Compliance: - Ensure all safety standards and protocols are adhered to on the construction site. - Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns promptly.

3. Quality Control: - Inspect work performed to ensure it meets the required standards and specifications. - Identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner.

4. Communication: - Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed of project status and any issues. - Conduct regular meetings to keep all parties updated on project progress and any changes.

5. Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports.

6. Resource Management: - Manage and coordinate the use of construction materials, tools, and equipment. - Supervise the work of contractors and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role. - In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles. - Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety regulations. -

Excellent organizational and leadership skills. -

Ability to communicate and report effectively. -

Problem-solving abilities. -

Working Conditions: - Full-time position. - Majority of time spent on construction sites, with exposure to various weather conditions. - May require working extended hours and weekends to meet project deadlines.
