Global Operations Engineering Remote Operations Centers Global Predictive Monitoring Global Predictive Monitoring team is part of Global Service Operations, Quality & HSE in Service, mainly focusing on condition monitoring activities such as vibration analysis and analysis on wind turbine standard signals to measure performance and determine condition of the wind turbines and components, combining and developing methods to detect and highlight potential failures and damages before they happen, playing a key role to optimize service operations. Team is the centralized monitoring team in Vestas and responsible for monitoring all the wind turbines installed across the world, supporting all the regions to improve the turbines availability and to reduce the service cost. Responsibilities Monitor the fleet performance proactively and, deploy the necessary monitoring & predictive maintenance strategies to improve the turbines availability to reduce the service cost Improve the condition monitoring processes and tools continuously, to guide, develop and train by providing guidelines / training material / user guide to the monitoring team Support Vestas value chain stakeholders with data analysis, RCA and technical advice Identify business improvement areas and initiate project ideas Define the requirements for product development and validate the final product before operationalization Constant interaction with service operations performing a follow up on the alerts detected by the system and the technical actions applied on field Qualifications PhD/M.E/M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in industry with Vibration Analysis and remote monitoring Level II Vibration analysis Certification as defined by ISO 18436-2 Very good working knowledge on database tools like SQL Studio, Matlab and R, with scripting skills in Python Competencies Solid written and oral presentation and communication skills Experience on SKF/ BKV/TCM vibration analyzer technologies with a statistical approach Good Understanding about working knowledge of Vibration Analysis Software, Vibration Data Acquisition systems, Vibration sensors and various Condition Monitoring techniques Should Know the basics of Different Maintenance Practices like Preventive, Proactive, Condition Based & Reliability Centered Maintenance and so on Significant knowledge about back-end infrastructure systems & processes, with knowledgeable around IT security, network architecture and IoT systems Pro-active, structured, self-motivated, communicative, reliable, credible, open minded, ambitious Six Sigma - DMAIC/DFSS, good understanding about application of various statistical tools in data analysis and problem solving What We Offer We offer an exciting and international job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development possibilities in an inspiring environment at the world\'s leading wind turbine manufacturer.
