of "Concrete Technologist"


We are seeking a dynamic Technical Manager to ensure the required quality of concrete mix


and implementation of correct work practice to deliver a good concrete product.


The primary responsibilities of this role are :


? Conduct material testing (including binder, aggregate, additives, water, fresh concrete


and hardened concrete) to assess construction material properties.


? Design optimal concrete mixes and ensure that the requirements of project technical


specification are met.


? Manage sample testing and monitoring of concrete production, communicating with


stakeholders on mix utilization and admixture dosage rates.


? Conduct plant & project inspections, recommend and implement corrective actions


for compliance, and monitor test report data for specification compliance.


? Support precast and execution dept in addressing quality-related issues, queries, and


claims analysis.


? Develop and maintain business relationships with client & consultants.


? Develop concrete specifications, design mixes, and create quality control plans for


projects.


? Evaluate constituent materials, conduct laboratory testing, and generate factual


reports with support of Quality Dept.


? Manage site inspections, facility inspections, and non-destructive testing for concrete


practices.


? Assess concrete structures for durability, service life, and repair applications in various


environment.

Key Skills & Experience:


? 20+ years of working experience in projects within the Concrete Industry


? Bachelor's degree in civil engineering


? Extensive technical understanding and experience in concrete manufacturing


? Knowledge of admixture types and their chemistry


? An ICT Certificate in Concrete Technology & Construction General Principles would be


an added advantage.
