Job Description

• Mix design development: Creating concrete mix designs to meet specific project requirements, including strength, workability, durability, and cost considerations.
• Laboratory testing: Performing tests on concrete samples to assess properties like slump, air content, compressive strength, and other relevant parameters.
• Quality control: Monitoring the concrete production process to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
• Raw material analysis: Evaluating the quality of aggregates, cement, admixtures, and other raw materials used in concrete production.
• Data analysis: Interpreting test results to identify trends and areas for optimization within the concrete production process.
• Technical support: Providing technical guidance to production teams regarding mix adjustments, troubleshooting issues, and addressing quality concerns.
• Research and development: Staying updated on new concrete technologies, admixtures, and testing methods to implement improvements in concrete production.
• Client communication: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to address their concrete requirements and concerns.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of mix designs, test results, and quality control activities.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of concrete chemistry and properties
• Expertise in concrete testing methods and standards
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with concrete production processes and quality control practices
