Position: Computer Teacher

Location: Ek Tara Learning Center.

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Teacher to teach students from Class 1 to Class 10. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing lesson plans, delivering content effectively, conducting exams, and managing data entry and other IT-related tasks if required. A strong understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as proficiency in Java and Python programming, is essential. A Master's degree in Computer Science or an MCA is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery:
• Prepare and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans for students in Class 1 to Class 10.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Incorporate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
• Actively handle the computer lab.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Conduct regular assessments and examinations to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Data Entry and IT Support:
• Perform data entry tasks related to student records, grades, and other administrative requirements.
• Assist with IT-related tasks, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues if required.
• Helping co-teachers in IT related issues.
• Classroom Management:
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and student engagement.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated with the latest developments in computer science and educational technology.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Master's degree in Computer Science or MCA (preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software.
• Proficiency in Java and Python programming.
• Idea of Artificial Intelligence.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in teaching computer science to school students (preferred).
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and engage students in learning.
• Other Requirements:
• Comfortable with data entry and other IT-related tasks.
