The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise, teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students\' interest in Computer Science.Responsibilities:- Teach Computer Science to classes 9-11 (IGCSE curriculum)- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, aligning with IGCSE syllabus- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and coding skills- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve curriculum goals- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school events, and extracurricular activities- Maintain a well-organized, tech-integrated classroom environmentRequirementsRequirements:- Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field- 2+ years of teaching experience (IGCSE or equivalent curriculum)- Strong knowledge of IGCSE Computer Science syllabus (0410/0984)- Excellent technical expertise in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)- Familiarity with educational technology and software development tools- Effective communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills- Commitment to ongoing professional developmentPreferred Qualifications:- Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE)- Experience with international curricula (e.g., IB, AP)- Familiarity with coding languages (e.g., C++, JavaScript)- Previous experience in a similar school setting- Industry experience in software development or ITBenefits
