Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Computer Science Teacher to teach 10th Standard students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop a deep understanding of the subject.

Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Delivery:Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the ICSE syllabus for Computer Science. Teach programming languages, software applications, and fundamental computer science concepts.Student Development: Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.Prepare students for ICSE board examinations and practical assessments.

Classroom Management:Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Manage classroom activities, including hands-on programming sessions and projects.Assessment and Evaluation:Design and conduct tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding. Provide timely feedback to students and parents on academic performance.

Resource Development:Prepare teaching materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in computer science education.

Extracurricular Activities:Encourage and guide students in participating in coding competitions, tech fairs, and other related events. Organize and supervise computer science clubs or workshops.

Administrative Duties:Maintain accurate student attendance records, grades, and progress. Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to improve curriculum and teaching methods.Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.PG qualification is often required , B.Ed. degree or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching Computer Science to secondary school students.Familiarity with the ICSE syllabus and board examination requirements.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.Knowledge of software applications, databases, and computer hardware.

Soft Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
