Job Description

M S Dhoni Global School is seeking an experienced and passionate STEM Facilitator to teach students from Grades 1 to 5. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both Coding and Robotics, with a focus on engaging and inspiring young minds through innovative teaching methods. The role requires a hands-on approach to learning, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.

Location: Ottiambakkam, Chennai.
Note: Transportation facilities are provided within a "12 km" radius of the school.

Objectives Of This Role

• Teach the subject at the given grades as per the CBSE standards and the educational needs and abilities of the students
• Create a classroom culture that is welcoming, positive, and inclusive
• Plan, prepare, and teach lessons, promoting the general progress and well-being of individual students and groups of students
• Drive outstanding student achievement for all students in your subject and support colleagues in driving student achievement school-wide
• Communicate, cooperate, and consult with school staff, and parents/guardians in the students' best interest
• Identify and groom students for various literary events like elocution, essay writing, debates etc.

Daily And Monthly Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging STEM lessons across various grade levels, focusing on Coding and Robotics.
• Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with educational standards and school objectives.
• Facilitate hands-on activities and projects to reinforce STEM concepts.
• Provide personalized support and guidance to students, encouraging their interest and proficiency in STEM subjects.
• Collaborate with other educators to integrate STEM learning across the curriculum.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in STEM education and incorporate them into teaching practices.
• Organize and participate in school events, workshops, and competitions related to STEM.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Any Engineering/STEM Education discipline).
• Proven experience in teaching STEM subjects, particularly Coding and Robotics.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups.
• Experience in designing curriculum and lesson plans.
