Job Description
• Monitoring System: System monitoring involves continuously observing hardware performance, software applications, and network connectivity. Technicians frequently serve as the initial safeguard in spotting and fixing system faults or anomalies.
• Managing Software involves installing and uninstalling programs and managing updates, patches, and licenses. Operators also recommend software purchases or upgrades in some companies. They must also evaluate the compatibility and utility of potential new software with existing systems.
• Network Maintenance & Security: A computer operator must guarantee the network remains operational and secure. They have to implement protective measures like firewalls and watch for unauthorised intrusions. In short, they need to stay up-to-date with the latest security measures.
