Job Title: Computer Lecturer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Computer Lecturer to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching computer science and information technology courses to undergraduate and graduate students. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching: Teach computer science and information technology courses, including programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and database systems.

2. Course Development: Develop and design new courses, update existing courses, and create course materials, such as syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.

3. Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.

4. Research and Scholarship: Engage in research and scholarly activities, publish papers, and present at conferences to stay current in the field.

5. Service: Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide service activities, such as committee work, student advising, and community outreach.

6. Mentorship: Mentor students in research projects, internships, and career development.

7. Industry Collaboration: Collaborate with industry partners to develop curriculum, provide internship opportunities, and facilitate research projects.

Requirements

1. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

3. Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience in software development, IT, or a related field.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

5. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in programming languages, data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Cisco, Microsoft, or Oracle.

2. Research Experience: Proven research experience in computer science or a related field.

3. Leadership Experience: Experience in leading teams, managing projects, or coordinating events.
