Computer Science Faculty (IGCSE, Level A)

Location: Shollinganallur, Chennai
Position: Full-time
Experience Required: Preferably 2-3 years, but fresher candidates with the ability to join immediately are also welcome.

Job Overview:
Gateway Schools is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Computer Science Faculty to join our IGCSE program at our Shollinganallur, Chennai branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in computer science, ensuring students have a strong understanding of coding, software development, and other core topics covered in the IGCSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science at the IGCSE Level A.
• Create and implement detailed lesson plans and assessments.
• Monitor student performance and offer additional support when needed.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in computer science to provide the best learning experience.
• Encourage students to develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking in technology-related fields.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in IGCSE or a similar international curriculum.
• Fresher candidates who can join immediately are also encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students in a fast-evolving subject area.
