The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and manufacturing processes, with proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience working with pressure vessels and pressure reactors is highly desirable. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Mechanical Design: Create detailed mechanical designs and drawings for pressure reactors and other related equipment using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. 2. GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to design specifications, ensuring precise and clear communication of engineering intent and manufacturing requirements. 3. Manufacturing Processes: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, considering factors such as material selection, fabrication methods, and assembly processes. 4. Design Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of design work, including drawings, specifications, and revisions, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. 5. Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide design input, and support the successful execution of projects. 6. Quality Assurance: Review and verify design drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. 7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving design processes, tools, and methodologies, contributing to ongoing enhancements in efficiency, quality, and innovation. 8. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production phase, addressing any design-related issues and ensuring successful implementation. Requirements: 1. Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. 2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience with pressure vessels and pressure reactors is a significant advantage. 3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and a thorough understanding of GD&T principles and applications. 4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 6. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in design work and documentation. 7. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work under tight deadlines.
