Summary Leads comprehensive, strategic compliance, ethics and business conduct functions for the companys operations in India. Conducts monitoring and assessments to identify compliance risks. Provides guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Promotes a culture of compliance awareness and ethical behavior within the organization. Essential Job Functions
Supports and/or leads various programs such as the ethics and business conduct program functions.
Resolves moderate to complex ethics helpline and/or investigation issues as needed. Oversees administration of case management and reporting requirements in accordance with the helpline administrative procedures.
Conducts regular monitoring and assessments to identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Develops and implements common processes and methods for periodic, consolidated reporting of ethics and compliance data to senior compliance and ethics leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Supports and/or leads communication with staff to ensure compliance with established practices and to implement new policies and training.
Coordinates and monitors efforts to administer and enforce the code of conduct and other compliance policies.
Supports and/or leads business strategies for activities relating to standards of conduct and ethical relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, employees, and stakeholders. Interfaces with business unit/staff functions to provide compliance and ethics program support.
Develops and monitors internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Works closely with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits related to compliance matters.
Provides technical knowledge and guidance on compliance-related matters.
Collaborates across departments to address and resolve compliance risks and issues.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
Twelve or more years of experience administering or working with compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
Familiarity and understanding of relevant privacy rules and regulations related to PHI and PII.
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, pharmacy benefit manager, or healthcare technology industry preferred.
