Job Description

:

The Compliance Officer (Labor Law) ensures the company's adherence to labor regulations and standards. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of labor law compliance, including monitoring company practices, reviewing policies, and providing guidance on labor law matters. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of labor laws and regulations and can develop and implement effective compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Compliance Programs: Create and implement comprehensive compliance programs related to labor law to ensure the company adheres to all applicable regulations.
• Policy Review and Development: Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Internal Audits: Conduct regular audits of company practices to identify potential areas of compliance risk and implement corrective actions.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's compliance efforts remain current.
• Training and Education: Educate and train employees on labor law regulations, company policies, and best practices for compliance.
• Investigations: Investigate and resolve any compliance issues or complaints related to labor laws.
• Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management, highlighting key areas of concern and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to labor law compliance.
• Crisis Management: Develop and implement plans to manage any compliance violations or crises related to labor law.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master's degree or certification in labor law or compliance is a plus.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, preferably with a focus on labor law.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex labor regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with compliance management software.
• Must have knowledge of ESIC,Labour Law,Contract Labour,Pension,PF.
