Our E-Retail & Fashion vertical delivers tailored logistics solutions to the growing e-commerce and fashion sectors, enabling seamless last-mile deliveries and exceptional customer experiences.Position Overview:The Compliance Manager (CM) will play an integral role in the Blue Dart - DHL Compliance Organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer and collaborating closely with the Country Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the CM will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust compliance management system for the company in alignment with the Country CCO. This role ensures adherence to local and global compliance standards, while actively promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.Job Purpose:The purpose of this role is to support Blue Dart - DHL's Compliance Management System (CMS) and Data Protection Program, ensuring that all operations comply with both internal policies and local legal requirements. The CM will proactively monitor compliance risks, promote awareness of compliance policies, and act as a primary advisor on all matters related to compliance, ethics, and data protection.Key Responsibilities:Scope of Role:

  • The CM will set up and coordinate the compliance management system and data protection program for Blue Dart - DHL in alignment with the Country CCO.
  • Work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance processes are executed efficiently and in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Identify and agree with Blue Dart - DHL Management and the Country CCO on the compliance and data protection needs for the country.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and data protection program.
  • Develop and lead country-specific compliance and data protection initiatives.
  • Assist the Country CCO with oversight and monitoring of implementation in local operations.
  • Prepare and submit country-specific compliance reports.
  • Ensure adherence to policies such as the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, and Business Ethics Policy.
  • Implement processes related to incident management, business partner screening, compliance risk assessments, hospitality reporting, customer compliance requests, and overall compliance reporting.
  • Alert the Country CCO of any identified compliance risks and ensure proper escalation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Internal Audit, HR, Legal, Finance, Security, and Operations.
  • Provide independent advice on ethical issues, conflicts of interest, and other compliance matters.
Internal Accountabilities:
  • Stimulate buy-in on compliance initiatives within the business.
  • Act as a communication bridge between Regional and Country compliance teams.
  • Roll out communication initiatives to promote compliance policies.
  • Manage the reporting process for compliance incidents, including investigating breaches of compliance policies.
  • Provide insight, best practices, and integrated compliance solutions to the business.
  • Promote adherence to key policies, including Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption & Business Ethics Policy, and DHL Data Protection guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with global policies related to gifts, entertainment, sponsored events, and hospitality.
  • Collaborate with the business to prepare for internal audits of significant compliance risks and provide prompt responses to audit findings.
  • Drive training initiatives and raise awareness of compliance and data protection issues.
  • Facilitate compliance risk workshops at the business unit level and maintain a follow-up on identified risks.
  • Respond to customer compliance requests, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with relevant business units.
  • Issue regular comprehensive compliance reports to Country Management & the Country CCO.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and teleconferences of the Country CCO, as well as ad-hoc projects.
  • Serve as a visible central point of contact for all compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of openness in reporting concerns.
External Accountabilities:
  • Work with the Business Development team on customer compliance requests, ensuring alignment with Blue Dart - DHLxe2x80x99s compliance policies and positions.
  • Keep up-to-date with local compliance-related developments, including laws, regulations, and cases.
Qualifications:Education:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate from a reputed University/Institute.
Experience:
  • At least 8+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Compliance/Risk Management roles.
Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance management systems and data protection regulations.
  • Familiarity with compliance-related certifications is a plus.
  • Proficient in compliance reporting, incident management, and business partner screening.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams and levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Strong ethical judgment and ability to handle sensitive compliance issues.

  • Ability to provide guidance and influence senior management regarding compliance matters.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Successful implementation and management of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and Data Protection Program.
  • Timely and effective reporting of compliance risks and incidents to the Country CCO.
  • Successful delivery of compliance training and awareness programs.
  • Completion of audits and compliance risk workshops with satisfactory results.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adherence to local and global compliance standards, with zero major compliance breaches.
Additional Information:
  • Travel: Occasional domestic travel (10-15%) based on work-related requirements.
