Job Description

The Factory Social Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the factory complies with all relevant social, ethical, and environmental standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing social compliance programs, conducting audits, and ensuring adherence to international labor standards and company policies. The manager will work closely with internal teams, external auditors, and suppliers to promote and maintain a culture of compliance and ethical business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compliance Management:
• Develop and implement social compliance programs and policies in line with international standards (e.g., SA8000, BSCI, SMETA).
• Monitor factory operations to ensure compliance with social, ethical, and environmental standards.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Audits and Assessments:
• Coordinate and conduct internal audits and assessments of factory operations.
• Prepare for and manage external audits conducted by customers, certification bodies, or third-party auditors.
• Address non-compliance issues identified during audits, develop corrective action plans, and ensure timely resolution.
• Training and Development:
• Develop and deliver training programs for employees on social compliance, ethical practices, and relevant standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ethical behavior within the factory.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audit results, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and readily available for inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, Operations, Quality) to integrate social compliance into overall business operations.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, certification bodies, customers, and suppliers, on compliance-related matters.
• Respond to inquiries and requests from customers regarding social compliance.
• Identify potential risks related to social compliance and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in social compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
