Job Summary:

The ESG Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing and implementing the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives. This role involves developing, executing, and overseeing strategies that enhance sustainability, ethical practices, and corporate governance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Management:

Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies.

Monitor and analyse the company's environmental footprint.

Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Identify and implement initiatives to reduce the company's environmental impact particularly CO2 emissions.

Social Responsibility:

Formulate and implement social responsibility programs aligned with industry standards.

Engage with stakeholders to understand community needs and concerns.

Oversee initiatives promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.

Monitor and report on labour practices, human rights, and community engagement.

Governance Oversight:

Collaborate with leadership to uphold strong corporate governance principles.

Develop and maintain governance policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate communication between management and stakeholders on governance matters.

Prepare and publish ESG reports in accordance with industry standards.

Communicate ESG strategies and performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with communication teams for effective ESG-related messaging.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, and industry organizations.

Respond to inquiries and requests related to ESG matters.

Represent the company at ESG-related events and forums.

Qualifications and Skills:

i. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Sustainability, or related field.

ii. Minimum 1 year of experience in ESG management, preferably in the diamond, mining or manufacturing industry.

iii. In-depth knowledge of ESG principles, standards, and reporting frameworks.

iv. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.

v. Ability to liaise with auditors from Europe, America, India etc.

vi. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

vii. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and interpret ESG data.

viii. Good knowledge in MS office applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month

• Diamond Industry: 3 years (Required)
