Job Title: Compliance Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within our Telecom Company. The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in safeguarding our operations and fostering a culture of integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the telecommunications industry, including but not limited to FCC regulations, data protection laws, and consumer protection laws.
2. To develop, review, and update company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Implement training programs to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures.
3. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and improve compliance effectiveness.
4. Tolead or support internal investigations into compliance issues, ethical concerns, or allegations of misconduct. Develop corrective action plans and monitor their implementation.
5. Plan and conduct regular compliance audits to assess adherence to policies and regulations. Monitor corrective actions resulting from audits or regulatory inspections.
6. Toprepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory agencies as required. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of compliance activities, investigations, and corrective actions.
7. Collaborate with departments across the organization to promote a culture of compliance. Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance matters.
8. Report to the Management and often liaise with board members, prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.
9. Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice to ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes that might affect the organization are up to date and approved by the committee.
10. Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders. Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.
11. Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance management within the telecommunications industry or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ?60,000.00 per month
