Australia, along with Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand are priority markets for 2022. About the role: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. You will report directly to the Senior GM who is based in Australia. Responsibilities: Manage month-end close activities including accrual provisions, general ledger, and balance sheet reconciliations. General ledger maintenance and reconciliation Prepare, review and report financial information to support compliance with financial, tax and legal responsibilities. Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable team Collaborate closely with finance teams in Australia for consolidation of monthly results Provide support to external auditors and preparation of required documents bi-annually Assist with the budget and forecasting process Responsible for the preparation of BAS, Payroll tax, GST Drive system improvements to enable early visibility of accurate information. What you need: Bachelor of Accounting/Finance and/or CA/CPA A minimum of 5 years\' experience in financial accounting related roles Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards Proficiency with accounting software (SAP) and Google Drive Experience with tax compliance (GST, FBT, PAYG Income Tax) Advanced Excel skills advanced PowerPoint and office skills Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with all departments Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Experience in Big 4 or start up organisation highly regarded
