This role involves working across all departments to promote a culture of compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain the company's integrity and reputation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and programsMonitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization's operationsConduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategiesOversee internal audits and compliance reviews across all business unitsInvestigate reported compliance violations and recommend appropriate corrective actionsDevelop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levelsServe as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditorsProvide guidance and advisory support to management on compliance-related mattersEstablish and maintain an effective compliance reporting system, including a confidential hotlinePrepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directorsCollaborate with Legal, HR, and other departments to address compliance concernsManage the compliance budget and resources effectivelyStay current with industry trends and best practices in compliance managementDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry associationsLead and mentor the compliance team, ensuring their professional development and effectivenessQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CAMS) preferred8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., FCPA, AML, GDPR, SOX)Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policiesExcellent understanding of risk assessment and management principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesDemonstrated leadership and team management experienceAbility to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationStrong ethical standards and integrityExcellent organizational and project management skillsProficiency in compliance management software and data analysis toolsExperience in conducting internal investigations and auditsAbility to manage confidential information with discretionIndustry-specific knowledge relevant to the organization's sectorLocation:On-site Bengaluru, KAIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all of the requirements.
