If you are a team player, are solutions-oriented and have an appetite for learning, you\'ll be a great fit for our team.Job Summary:The Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk (CCOR) Program sets forth the firm\'s second line of defense coverage of Compliance, Conduct, and Operational Risk. CCOR establishes policies and standards which manage compliance, conduct and operational risk across the firm. CCOR\'s program also includes independent assessment and oversight of compliance, conduct and operational risk inherent within the firm\'s lines of business, corporate functions and their activities.The Corporate Functions CCOR team is accountable for the management, execution and oversight of the CCOR program for various Corporate Functions, including Risk Management, CCOR, Human Resources, Chief Administration Office functions, amongst others.The successful candidate will provide CCOR coverage for Corporate Functions in Asia Pacific, working together with senior stakeholders in the Corporate Functions, and partnering with Control Management and other groups across the CCOR organization to advise applicable compliance and operational risks and related policies, perform independent risk assessments, conduct deep dive reviews of processes and support the Corporate Functions in their development of appropriate controls to mitigate applicable compliance and operational risks.Job ResponsibilitiesThis successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging the firm\'s CCOR Framework to identify, measure, monitor & test, manage, report and govern compliance, conduct and operational risk in the Corporate Functions.
  • Understand key processes and controls performed by Corporate Functions.
  • Perform independent assessment of compliance, conduct and operational risks through ongoing engagement with the Corporate Functions, monitoring (e.g. performing monitoring and testing reviews, ongoing reviews of KPI / KRI, and through periodic qualitative risk appetite determination and risk assessment)
  • Calibrate viewpoints and present findings to Corporate Functions management
  • Work closely with Corporate Functions to strengthen the compliance, conduct and operational risk environment of the firm using analytics and independent challenge.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
  • 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated success in delivering as part of a geographically dispersed team, while also capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner to a senior audience.
  • Deadline driven, proven track record of delivering results with limited supervision and capable of learning in a changing environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office application suite.
  • Strong background in risk management/controls/audit
  • Keen attention to details, inquisitive, proactive with proven ability to identify issues, control weaknesses, risks and effective mitigation
  • Strong execution and project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive initiatives concurrently and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experienced, effective and comfortable in working with a broad range of stakeholders (including Legal, Compliance, Lines of Business; senior management) across multiple jurisdictions and amalgamating conflicting or diverse views into practical and optimal conclusions
  • Highly driven, initiated, results-oriented and persistent individual
  • The shift is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. IST
