This role is responsible for providing guidance for intricate matters on total rewards function and aligning local programs with the broader compensation and benefits programs strategy. The role ensures data accuracy for health and welfare plans, oversees projects, analyzes data to recommend total rewards improvements, and stays updated on relevant regulations. The role maintains high data standards, coordinates annual projects, and promotes process documentation and improvement within the benefits team.
Responsibilities
Maintains data integrity for group health and welfare benefit plans and works closely with HR Management Systems Support, Information Technology, and Finance departments to ensure accuracy.
Analyzes survey, employee, and financial data to summarize findings, draw conclusions, and make recommendations about total rewards programs to project teams.
Manages compensation or benefits projects of moderate complexity.
Oversees the utilization of advanced data analysis tools to drive transformative insights on compensation trends, cost projections, and innovation opportunities.
Ensures a high standard of data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across compensation and benefits systems, setting and overseeing team-wide standards.
Develops the planning, facilitation, administration and reporting of annual projects, including but not limited to, total rewards statement, open enrollment, and health and wellness initiatives.
Ensures benefit related processes and procedures are documented and up-to-date, seeks process improvement, where applicable, and cross-trains with other benefit team members.
Work in close partnership with multiple stakeholders to implement best in class Total Rewards (TR) programs, with a focus on benefits for the country.
Design, communicate, and implement TR programs in country which fit within our overall global strategy.
Ensure TR program proposals balance affordability and competitiveness, are aligned with business objectives, and meet all legal requirements.
Partner successfully with a wide variety of individuals across the company (legal, finance, etc.), as well as external vendor partners in the delivery and support of TR programs.
Support annual TR events, including annual benefits enrollment, global wellness, and Collective Agreement negotiations.
Oversee all benefits programs in country, including retirement, health & insurance, wellness, time off and any other perquisite programs.
Support the benchmarking of benefits and salary structures to ensure there is a comprehensive understanding of the competitive position of all TR programs in country.
Opportunities to lead regional projects or global project rollout for the region such as M&A and wellness.
Manage and collaborate with vendors in providing competitive and relevant programs with best employee experience and services.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Finance, Business, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 5-7 years of work experience, preferably in compensation management and administration, employee benefits and rewards, finance, or a related field
