Position Title: Company Secretary

Location: Mumbai

Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Secretary with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. As a Company Secretary, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's adherence to legal and statutory obligations while providing strategic support to the board of directors and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and manage board meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring timely distribution of board papers.
• Maintain and update statutory registers and records.
• Advise the board and senior management on corporate governance matters and best practices.
• Coordinate the annual general meeting (AGM) and ensure proper documentation and communication.
• Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation and filing of statutory forms and annual returns.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and legal standards.
• Assist in the drafting and review of corporate documents and contracts.
• Manage and mitigate corporate risks by ensuring robust compliance frameworks are in place.
• Provide administrative support to the board and its committees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Chartered Secretary qualification (ICSA) or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a company secretarial role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and company secretarial software.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month

Schedule:
