Job Description

The Compliance Officer (Semi-Qualified Company Secretary) for the Finance and Accounts Department at "myG" is responsible for managing corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and statutory matters related to myG India Private Limited. This role includes handling internal and external issues, ensuring compliance with company law, GST, tax regulations, and other legal requirements. The Compliance Officer will work closely with the Finance Controller, Legal, and other departments to maintain compliance with financial and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, including the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain and update company statutory records, including board resolutions, registers of directors and shareholders, and annual filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
• Handle secretarial compliance, including organizing board and shareholder meetings, drafting resolutions, and filing statutory forms.
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, including timely filing of returns and maintaining proper documentation.
• Work with the Finance Controller to ensure compliance with other tax laws such as income tax, TDS, and VAT where applicable.
• Monitor tax liabilities and ensure accurate and timely tax payments.
• Collaborate with tax advisors and external consultants to resolve tax-related issues and queries.
• Monitor and stay updated on legal and regulatory changes that may affect the company and ensure timely compliance.
• Support internal and external audit teams by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Identify and assess potential compliance risks and work with internal teams to develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory documents, including annual returns, financial statements, GST returns, and other regulatory filings.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance documentation, including tax-related records.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Semi-qualified Company Secretary (CS) or pursuing CS from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
• 1-4 years of experience in corporate compliance, governance, and regulatory affairs, with experience in tax and GST compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate law, GST, tax regulations, and other applicable financial laws.
• Familiarity with secretarial duties, board meetings, shareholder meetings, and statutory filings.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
