The individual will be a member of the Fiserv India Legal team based in Mumbai/Thane. He/She should be able to take quick decisions, interact closely with business teams and external clients. Deliver on assignments quickly and in line with company policies and applicable laws. To be successful, the Staff Counsel & Company Secretary at Fiserv needs to be curious to learn and improve and strive to constantly progress the franchise, department and self.What will you do:

• Responsible for working closely with senior management at Fiserv. He/She will work on some of the most exciting payments/fintech transactions being carried out at the company and which will require him/her to work with stakeholders inside and externally.
• Will be responsible for supporting the Legal team of Fiserv in India in all legal aspects of its business that are assigned to him/her by the Head of Legal.
• Draft, review and provide advice on legal and contractual aspects of a variety of complex products and services contracts.
• Provide frontline support for negotiations, respond to inquiries regarding existing contract obligations and revisions, identify risks and issues, with a solution-oriented approach towards closure of transactions.
• Handle the Company Secretary function for Fiservs group entities in India including but limited to conduct board meetings, prepare minutes, resolutions and do oversee all regulatory and other filings as part of corporate governance/legal requirements.

What will you need to know :

• The Staff Counsel & Company Secretary at Fiserv should be well versed with the ever changing fintech/payments industry landscape in industry.
• Strong experience in negotiating relevant agreements, confidentiality agreements and Master Agreements.
• Strong contract drafting and review skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written/verbal communications and interpersonal skills and an ability to work across diverse teams.
• Strong experience in the CS function. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

What would be great to have :

• Qualifications LLB + Company Secretary with Minimum of 8 years PQE (Post qualification experience)
• Well versed with the payments/fintech industry will be great to have.
• To step forward and take up tasks and ownership when needed most will be welcome
