Job Description


We are looking for a proactive and organized Community Coordinator to engage with our community, orchestrate meetups and events, and represent our brand at industry gatherings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring impactful events to life, foster strong relationships with community leaders and speakers, and ensure that our events are well-executed and widely promoted.Drive- 22nd April- Tuesday 2025Roles & Responsibilities:Event Planning & Execution:

  • Collaborate with technical and business leaders to finalize event agendas and schedules.
  • Identify target audiences, event goals, and source suitable internal or external speakers.
  • Manage speaker outreach, confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Handle all aspects of event logistics, including F&B arrangements, event space setup, seating, and AV support.
  • Ensure proper branding, signage, and promotional materials are in place.
  • Coordinate with the video team for recording, hosting, and publishing event content.
Partnerships & Collaborations:
  • Identify and evaluate potential co-organizing opportunities with external organizations.
  • Negotiate terms and manage partnerships for meetups, tech talks, and podcasts.
  • Work with speakers to ensure their content aligns with audience expectations.
Content Creation & Promotion:
  • Assist video and editorial teams in preparing high-quality video content, including testing AV systems and troubleshooting pre-event issues.
  • Oversee content publication and promotion across relevant channels.
  • Share video and visual content from conferences and events to engage the broader community.
Conference & External Engagement:
  • Research external conferences and industry events for speaking or exhibiting opportunities.
  • Coordinate with event organizers on legal, financial, and logistical matters.
  • Plan booth activities, printables, and other promotional materials in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Work with the CIO team to identify and prepare attendees, managing travel and accommodation logistics.
Community Management:
  • Maintain and update community meetup profiles (e.g., Meetup.com) with upcoming events and activities.
  • Engage with external communities, and participate in forums, discussions, and networking events to identify speaking and conference opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with community leaders and stakeholders.
Data Management & Reporting:
  • Keep a community meetup and conference tracker updated, ensuring all tasks and events are reflected in the Jira board.
  • Prepare reports on event performance, audience engagement, and outcomes.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement new strategies for community growth.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Keen interest in event coordination, community management, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with event logistics, including AV setup, vendor management, and content creation workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, business, and marketing teams.
  • Comfortable using project management tools and maintaining detailed trackers and reports.
  • A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, social work, public relations, or a related field.
