The

Community Builder

will be responsible for fostering engagement and collaboration among researchers, practitioners, and local communities involved in the project . This role involves strengthening networks, facilitating knowledge-sharing and building a network.

Responsibilities




Build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders, including researchers, policymakers, local communities, and NGOs. Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions, dialogues, and workshops to enhance collaboration between ATREE, INR, and external partners. Develop strategies to strengthen community engagement in research and conservation initiatives. Create and manage platforms (both digital and in-person) for ongoing interaction, such as discussion forums, newsletters, or learning exchanges. Document and amplify community voices and local knowledge, ensuring inclusivity in research and decision-making processes. Work closely with the communications team to share stories, case studies, and learnings from the Centre's activities. Support the design and implementation of training programs that empower local communities and stakeholders. Monitor and evaluate engagement strategies, adapting them based on feedback and impact assessment. ###

Qualifications




A degree in social sciences, communications, environmental studies, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or participatory research. Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in organizing events, workshops, or capacity-building initiatives. Familiarity with digital engagement tools and social media for community-building. Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural environments.

Preferred Qualifications:




Experience in conservation, sustainability, or rural development projects. Knowledge of participatory research methodologies Proficiency in either Hindi/Telugu/Marathi ###
