Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and talented Communications Specialist to join our team.
The primary objective of this role is to promote awareness of our cybersecurity company, showcasing our brand messaging and positioning through your well-thought-out communication initiatives. You will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep desire to add value and see the efforts of your work drive new sales and revenue.
Responsibilities

• Develop a communications plan documenting a 6-to-12-month roadmap of communications activities.
• Align your communications strategy with the overall marketing strategy and brand positioning and messaging.
• Craft communications that align with the key messages we want to communicate at the company level, at the product/service level and for each specific vertical we target.
• Proactively identify opportunities for thought leadership, content creation, and media engagement to position the company as a trusted authority in cybersecurity.
• Prepare and distribute media releases, blog posts, articles, whitepapers, and other content assets to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership
• Create case studies that build credibility with prospects and exhibit how we deliver on our core message.
• Leverage social media platforms to amplify our message and engage with target audiences effectively.
• Track and analyze the performance of communication initiatives, leveraging data and insights to optimize strategies and achieve measurable results.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in communications, public relations, or marketing roles, preferably within the cybersecurity industry or technology sector.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and challenges, with the ability to translate technical information into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communication strategies that drive brand awareness, reputation management, and lead generation.
• Proficiency in leveraging digital communication channels, social media platforms, and analytics tools to amplify messaging and measure impact.
• Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of generating innovative ideas and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and media contacts.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering results-driven communication campaigns.
• Experience in crisis communication and issues management is a plus.
