The Role / Responsibilities:
This is an opportunity within the EMEA communications team to work from Gurgaon on a wide spectrum of issues that are at the heart of the global capital markets. You will play a pivotal role supporting the wider EMEA Communications team, co-managing the press line and media relations email inbox, serving as the first point of contact for Moody\xe2\x80\x99s to the media and positioning Moody\xe2\x80\x99s Corporation (Moody\xe2\x80\x99s Investors Service, Moody\xe2\x80\x99s Analytics) as an integrated risk assessment firm. The number and variety of internal and external customers you will liaise with allow you to capture the best of both in-house and agency communications work.
Key responsibilities:

  • Efficient management of the EMEA press line & general media relations email inbox, serving as first point of contact for reporters
  • Assessment of incoming media queries, acting as liaison between Communications Strategists and journalists. Facilitating response by providing solutions content, ratings, research, and access to analysts, economists, product specialists and subject matter experts.
  • General support of the EMEA Communications Team including assisting with a variety of regional and global outreach campaigns and the creation of high impact promotional content
  • Updating of media contacts and recording of media engagements in a timely, accurate and comprehensive fashion
  • Production of media coverage and media engagements summaries and analysis
  • Ad-hoc project work
  • Bachelor\'s degree in communications, journalism, business, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 1 years\' experience in communications, public relations, and/or journalism, ideally within the financial services sector or corporate environment
  • English fluency/proficiency is essential (written and spoken)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed IT skills including Microsoft Office; data visualization and analytics software (such as Tableau) desirable
  • Knowledge of and comfort using social media platforms to promote content
  • Aptitude in using new database applications and other proprietary systems
  • Strong detail orientation and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels
  • Comfortable with being managed remotely and to manage upwards
  • Must be a professional, creative, extremely organized, enthusiastic and flexible team player
