Communications and Development Intern
Carnegie India
Carnegie India offers three- to twelve-month internships to support the center's scholars and programs. Interns are an integral part of Carnegie's growing global network.
Interns are provided a stipend. Carnegie India is not able to provide information on possible external sources of funding or provide assistance for visa-related matters. Applicants are advised to check with their academic institutions for information about available sources of internship funding.

• Be a recent graduate
• Have an excellent verbal and written command of English

Communications and Development Intern
Carnegie India is seeking communications and development interns, with a background in mass communication, journalism, public relations, English, or a related field to work for a period of three to six months starting 1 August, 2024.
• The interns will work closely with the communications team to update the Carnegie India website, assist in coordinating events across programs, creating social media marketing collaterals, assist in the execution of multimedia content including Carnegie India's podcast, Interpreting India.
• Assist the development team with proposal writing, database management, tracking various impact indicators and key metrics for Carnegie India.
• The intern will also be responsible for supporting Carnegie India's communication team in organizing events including Carnegie India's flagship summit, Global Technology Summit.
• The intern may be assigned administrative, editorial, research, coordination, writing or organizational tasks to provide overall support to the Carnegie India's Communications team.
Ideal Candidates must have:
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong computer skills, with knowledge of HTML and Content Management System (CMS)
• Strong graphic designing skills and experience working with Canva
• A strong aptitude for social media and familiarity with social media platforms
• Possess the flexibility and enthusiasm to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• A creative mindset for developing engaging content and innovative communication strategies
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate with various teams
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and complete tasks in a diligent manner
This is a full-time role and the selected candidates will be required to attend the office of Carnegie India in New Delhi.
