Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of vacuum systems and related equipment at customer sites.
Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure equipment meets performance specifications and customer requirements.
Develop detailed erection plans and schedules in coordination with project management & all stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient installation of the Package.
Supervise & coordinate all erection activities ensuring quality standards& regulatory requirements, conducting inspections, and implementing correction actions as required.
Knowledge of work permits & safety norms at site.
Technical Support:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers during and after the commissioning phase.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to vacuum systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare detailed commissioning and test reports, documenting procedures, results, and any issues encountered.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used during the commissioning process.
Customer Training:
Train customers on the operation and maintenance of vacuum systems, ensuring they understand best practices for optimal performance.
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions tailored to customer needs.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvements in the commissioning process and suggest enhancements to optimize efficiency and quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in vacuum systems and engineering.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with engineering, sales, VTS and project management teams to ensure alignment on installations & commissioning.
Communicate effectively with customers, providing regular updates on installation & commissioning issues promptly.
To succeed, you will needEducational requirements
Diploma / University degree in Instrumentation & Control or relevant practical experience in the field.
Experience requirements.
0-3 Years of relevant practical experience in the field.
Knowledge
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Knowledge of SAP and MS Project advantageous.
Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.
Should have knowledge of PLC Panels and automation systems, Valves, Instruments, Static & rotary equipment like Vacuum pumps, heat exchangers, compressors & blowers.
Visit different customer locations as and when required for problem resolution & erection & commissioning.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the vacuum industry.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
