We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commi 1 Chef specializing in North Indian cuisine for our restaurant in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing authentic North Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, breads (naan, roti), and appetizers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior chef in food preparation and cooking.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Follow recipes accurately and adhere to portion control standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and monitor stock levels.
- Assist in preparing mise en place for daily operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in North Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
