Role Overview:

A Commis chef plays a crucial role in assisting the kitchen in food preparation, ensuring that all the dishes are prepared according to the established standards and recipes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience and develop their skills in a professional kitchen environment

Desired Skills:

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, either through internships, apprenticeships, or entry-level positions, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Passion for Cooking: A genuine passion for food and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen environment.
• Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instruction accurately.
• Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Language Requirement: Hindi/Marathi and preferably English speaking.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is desirable. Cleanliness and presentation highly required as part of Kitchen etiquettes.
• Mandatory: Must have adequate knowledge on making eggs to order/ sandwiches/ salads, etc

Qualification:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
