We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team located in Chakkai, near the Trivandrum International Airport exit gate, supporting our airport outlets. As a Commis Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting our chefs in the preparation and presentation of food that will be served at our airport outlets. You will ensure that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of the Head Chef or Sous Chef.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area.

- Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and presented according to the company's standards.

- Assist in the monitoring and control of stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness of products.

- Follow recipes and instructions accurately to produce consistent results.

- Help in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and washing.

- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes before they are transported to airport outlets.

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following health and safety guidelines.

- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your culinary skills.

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role is preferred.

- Basic understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality food.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
