Tandoor and Curry Chef
The Curry and tandoor chef is responsible for all types of gravies, marinations and doughs. They are also responsible for following recipes, measuring ingredients and performing all types of tasks.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Good knowledge of basic Indian gravies.
• Examining food stuffs to ensure quality.
• Regulating temperatures of Tandoori ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
• Preparing and cooking food.
• Seasoning food during cooking.
• Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
• Storing food in temperature controlled facilities.
• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements with Manager.
• Train other kitchen staff, Apprentices and Trainee Chefs/ Hospitality Students..
• Preparing different kinds of Dough and dough portions and stuffing for all kind of Breads.
• Preparing all kind of Tandoori Items as per menu and requirement (Veg and Non Veg).
• Preparing all kind of curries (Veg, Non Veg).
• Preparation as per menu, functions and catering.
• Preparing, cooking and plating dishes.
• Must maintain the standards of commercial Kitchen and make sure of the safety, hygiene control of all staff in the kitchen as per Indian

Required experience:
• Cookery: 3-4 years
