Job Title: Commis Chef (I, II, III)
Reports to: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef
Job Summary:
A Commis Chef is an entry-level position, responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking basic dishes, and supporting senior chefs in food preparation and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.
• Measure ingredients and prepare basic dishes.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene standards.
• Assist with receiving and storing kitchen deliveries.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Diploma in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation.
