Defence Bakery is renowned for its delicious and artistically designed baked goods. We are expanding our team to include a highly skilled Cake and Fondant Chef for our new outlet in Gurugram. We are looking for a creative and dedicated professional who can bring their passion for baking and cake decorating to our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
The Cake and Fondant Chef will be responsible for designing, creating, and decorating cakes and other baked goods with a focus on fondant work. This role requires exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of cake decorating techniques.

• Design and create cakes for various occasions including weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.
• Bake cakes and other pastries as needed.
• Ensure cakes and pastries are baked to the highest quality standards.
• Prepare and apply fondant to cakes, ensuring smooth and professional finishes.
• Create intricate fondant decorations, including flowers, figurines, and other custom designs.
• Stay updated with current cake decorating trends and techniques.
• Innovate new cake designs and decoration techniques.
• Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef and other kitchen staff.
• Assist in training junior staff and apprentices.
• Monitor and manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure timely ordering and restocking of supplies.

Quality Control:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Ensure all products meet Defence Bakery's quality standards.
• Regularly check the freshness and quality of ingredients.

Qualification and Experience

• Must be 12th pass
• Proven experience as a Cake and Fondant Chef or similar role.
• Certification in Baking and Pastry Arts or relevant field.
• Exceptional skills in fondant work and cake decorating.
• Strong artistic ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,080.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
