COMMIS II JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Food Preparation:
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients (cutting, chopping, peeling, marinating, etc.).
• Prepare sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments as instructed by senior chefs.
• Follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.
2.Cooking Support:
• Assist the Commis I, Chef de Partie, or other senior chefs during service.
• Help with plating and portioning of food as required.
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is cooked properly.
3. Kitchen Operations & Hygiene:
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI, if applicable).
• Clean utensils, kitchen tools, and equipment after use.
4.Inventory Management:
• Assist in stock management and ensure proper storage of food items.
• Report any spoilage or shortage of ingredients to the supervisor promptly.
5.Teamwork & Learning:
• Work closely with the team to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Participate actively in training sessions to enhance culinary skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?14,000.00 per month
