JOB DESCRIPTION FOR COMMIS 1 :
1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and garnishing of continental dishes according to the menu and company standards.
• Measure, cut, and prepare ingredients as instructed by senior chefs.
• Ensure consistency in food taste, portioning, and presentation.
• Prepare basic sauces, salads, and appetizers when required.
2. Kitchen Operations Support:
• Keep the workstation and kitchen tools clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Assist with stock rotation and notify the chef of any low-stock items.
• Follow daily prep lists and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
3. Food Safety and Hygiene:
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including HACCP protocols.
• Store raw and cooked food properly to avoid contamination.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
4. Collaboration and Learning:
• Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
• Attend kitchen briefings and participate in training sessions to enhance skills.
• Assist with menu trials and food tastings for new dishes.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
