We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Commi I & II - Continental to join our culinary team. As a Commi I, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing and cooking Continental dishes according to standard recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
• Prepare and garnish food items according to the Executive Chef's direction
• Assist with inventory management and food ordering when required
• Ensure consistency in food presentation and quality
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Commi I or in a similar role, with a focus on Continental cuisine
• Knowledge of Continental cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
