Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation : Assist in the preparation of a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosa, idli, sambar, and other traditional recipes.
- Ingredient Management: Ensure the proper storage and handling of ingredients, maintaining freshness and quality.
- Cooking Techniques: Utilize various cooking methods specific to South Indian cuisine, including steaming, frying, and tempering.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Menu Support: Assist in the development and execution of daily specials and seasonal menus.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets restaurant standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
