We are seeking skilled and passionate Commis 1/2/3 to join our vibrant kitchen team. As a member of our culinary staff, you will assist in the preparation and presentation of our diverse menu, which includes Chinese, Continental, and Parsi dishes. Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Cooking: Cook and present dishes as per the chef's specifications while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
- Station Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated kitchen station.
- Assistance: Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Inventory Management: Help in managing stock levels, assisting in ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards, to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred. Commis 1 should have 2-3 years, Commis 2 should have 1-2 years, and Commis 3 should be entry-level or have relevant training.
- Culinary Skills: Basic knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines, particularly Chinese, Continental, and Parsi.
- Team Player: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Passion for Cooking: A genuine interest in culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the kitchen.
