An Indian chef is responsible for the quality, consistency, and production of a specialty restaurant kitchen. They typically have the following duties:
• Lead the kitchen team : Oversee and coordinate the activities of cooks and other food preparation staff
• Set and maintain goals : Establish and support kitchen goals, such as performance, budget, and team goals
• Ensure customer service : Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Maintain food quality : Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
• Maintain kitchen equipment : Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
• Train new staff : Train new kitchen staff on how to prepare and cook menu
